Homemade Spaghetti Recipe



1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 pound of lean ground beef

½ yellow onion

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon of salt

Half a teaspoon of pepper

1 tablespoon of fresh minced garlic

3 cups of water

1 jar of spaghetti sauce

1 can of chopped tomatoes (optional)

16 ounces of spaghetti pasta

How to Prepare Homemade Spaghetti:

Preheat the air fryer to the fry setting.

Once ready, add onions and olive oil. Saute until the onions have softened.

Add the ground beef and spices; cook until the meat is tender.

Remove the meat and add water, scraping the bottom well to prevent any air pot burning warnings.

Break the spaghetti in half and place them in the air fryer in a crisscross pattern.

Pour spaghetti sauce over the noodles.

If desired, add a can of chopped tomatoes over the spaghetti sauce.

Pour water along the sides and on top of the tomatoes, pressing down slightly to ensure the spaghetti is covered.

Put on the lid, turn the valve to seal, and set the pressure cooker for 5 minutes.

When the time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes.

Perform a quick release once the pin drops out.

Open the lid and stir the spaghetti, sauce, and tomatoes with the cooked meat.

Serve with a dinner salad and cheese garlic toast if desired.
